June 14, 2009: What a great day!

Thanks to all who brought their needles, shuttles, yarn, yoyos, hoops, hanks, and handwork, to join in the first gala Merrimack Valley Fiber Arts Celebration!
It was an energetic and colorful gathering, and we can't wait to get started on the next one. Thanks to our guest speaker, Brunonia Barry, author of the New York Times best-seller, The Lace Reader. Come back to our site soon to see a video of the event, and to read about our next event...coming soon to a town near you!

Do you like hats?

crazyhats

We're crazy about them. So crazy, in fact, that we're planning a week-end of hat-making workshops in Spring 2010 in Amesbury, MA (home of the legendary Merrimack Hat Factory). If you're a hat-maker (or want to learn how to create a few head-turning models, from red hats to fuzzy hats, pill-boxes to bowlers), drop us a note and we'll get in touch with more info.

Coming in Spring 2010

An all-new Fiber Arts Celebration at historic Slater Mill in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Please use our contact page to let us know if you are interested in participating as a vendor or guest.
